He is currently the Specialist Editor for the SAIEE Africa Research Journal, leading the drive to enhance publications from the East African region. He is a regular reviewer for leading IEEE journals and conferences and has been a technical committee member of several international IEEE conferences. He is a Member of IEEE.
Mr. James Beronda

A senior ICT professional and project manager with extensive experience managing ICT for Development (ICT4D) projects. Most of this experience has been in senior management roles, providing hands-on leadership and technical oversight in the design, execution, scheduling, and monitoring of these projects. Currently serves as the Director of the Uganda Communications Universal Service and Access Fund (UCUSAF) at the Uganda Communications Commission.
Dr. Roseline Nyongarwizi Akol

She contributed to the initial conceptualization of the NCC and has been in the business of human capital development of Electrical, Computer & Telecommunications Engineers in Uganda for many years. Her current research interest is in wireless technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), smart grids and smart technologies. Dr. Akol is passionate about harnessing and growing resources.
Mr. Denis Kahindi

He is a Director at Airtel Uganda and the former Chief Executive Officer at Liquid Intelligent Technologies – Uganda.
He possesses proven senior management and operational leadership skills from over 15 years of experience in the Telecommunications and ICT industry.
Dr. Godfrey Kibalya Mirondo
Lecturer, Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics, Busitema University
Dr. Mirondo serves as a reviewer, guest editor, and technical program committee member for several International Journals and conferences. His research interests include Applied Artificial Intelligence, Agentic AI, AI Ethics, Edge Computing, Network Slicing and Network Automation, with over 35 publications in leading international journals and conferences.
He is currently a postdoctoral fellow with the CECAP11 Early Career Research program. He previously served as Senior Research and Innovation Engineer (AI) at Nearby Computing S.L., Barcelona, Spain and has participated in numerous EU funded projects.
Ms. Barbara Birungi

Barbara Birungi is a Ugandan social entrepreneur, technologist, mentor, and educator. She serves as the Director of Hive Colab, an innovation hub, business accelerator, and incubator for East African technology startups, with a mission to build local tech capacity across the region. Barbara is also the founder of Women in Technology Uganda (WITU), an organization dedicated to empowering women in the tech industry through networking, training, mentoring, and partnerships. WITU aims to increase the number of women entrepreneurs in tech, encourage girls to pursue STEM education, and close the gender gap in Uganda's technology sector.
