Makerere University to Host the Sixth NCC

Makerere University was once again selected  to host the National Conference on Communications (NCC) for 2020, through its College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT).
The two day annual conference that attracts over 500 participants from industry, academia and the general public is expected to be mainly virtual (online attendance) with a few participants in physical attendance. This move is to ensure adherence to the SOPs in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Become the next NCC Host!

The NCC Host institution is selected through a competitive process after expression of interest. Once Selected, the Uganda Communications Commission formerly notifies the Institution.

The Uganda Communications Commission and it’s NCC partners, provide the neccessary financial resources for the NCC, to the selected Host institution.

The academic institutions that previously hosted the NCC include; Makerere University, Ndejje University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
