The NCC Advisory Board is appointed by the Uganda Communications Commission, to among others, guide the NCC Secretariat in implementation of the NCC core objectives.
The Advisory Board is composed of accomplished experts in the ICT industry, Academic and Innovation fields.

Dr. Dorothy Okello
Board Chair – UCC
A Ugandan technologist, professor, and engineer, Dr. Dorothy has a very rich background in ICTs. She is the current Chairperson of the Board at the UCC.
Radoslaw Kedzia
MD – Huawei (Czech)
Mr. Radoslaw Kedzia is an expert with over 20 years in ICTs and is the former MD of Huawei Uganda. He is currently the MD of Huawei Czech Republic.
Eng. Irene Kaggwa S.
Ag. ED – UCC
Eng. Irene Kaggwa Ssewankambo, is an electrical engineer and corporate executive with over 20 years experience. She is the Acting ED of the UCC.
Shem Nnaggenda
Director – Britam Insurance
With experience in Financial services, ICTs, the Telecoms Industry and Agri Business. Mr. Shem Nnaggenda Nsubuga is a Director at Britam Insurance Company.
Prof. P.E. Mugambi
Senior Lecturer – MUK
A Senior Lecturer and Mathematician, Prof. P.E. Mugambi is the former president of Uganda National Academy of Sciences. He has a vast experience in Academic and Idustrial research.
Dr. Rehema Baguma
Senior Lecturer – MUK
An Information Systems expert and Senior Lecturer at Makerere University, Dr. Rehema is a researcher in web systems, accessibility and computing solutions for the physically disabled.
