Mbarara High School, Monday 22nd September 2025 – The Western Regional ICT Club Competitions were held in Mbarara City at Mbarara High School. Twelve secondary schools from different districts across the region converged to showcase their creativity, passion, and technological talent in what has become one of the most anticipated student ICT events of the year.
Their presentations included projects about platforms that enhance data security and storage, to innovations promoting ICT literacy, digital inclusion, and community development. These projects not only celebrated innovations from young people but also served as a platform for students to exchange ideas, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to real-world ICT challenges, highlighting their potential in shaping an ICT-driven future.
